Black History Month Marketplace Pop-up

Black Business Marketplace in Harvard Square this weekend - 2/7 - 2/8, 2025

As Black History Month approaches, we look forward to celebrating history, culture and community with our networks. However, honoring the contributions of the African diaspora should not be limited to just one month—we celebrate year-round. Sustainable Business Network of MA, Cambridge Local First invites you to join the Cambridge-Somerville Black Business Network's third annual Black History Month Marketplace Pop-up this weekend in Harvard Square on February 7 and 8, 2025 at One Brattle Square.

The theme this year is Show Your Love For Black-Owned Businesses. If you are looking for unique and handcrafted Valentine gifts, come on over to Harvard Square this weekend. The event will feature 20 vendors. Patrons can shop for hand crafted and locally made gift items, hand bags, Zero Waste clothing, soaps, natural body care, Ethiopian coffee, jewelry, sauces, vintage clothing and more. Check out our vendor map for a list of vendors and when they will be there. While in Harvard Square, check out the Harvard Square Business Association's Chili Cook-off on Saturday, 12-1:30pm at Brattle Square.

This Black Business Holiday Pop-up is a project of The Cambridge-Somerville Black Business Network and hosted by Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts and Cambridge Local First. Sponsors for this free holiday pop-up include the City of Cambridge, Beacon Capital Partners, Cambridge Savings Bank, and Harvard Square Business Association. This project is supported by the City of Cambridge's State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds.
