Mark your calendar for the Embrace Unveiling being held on MLK weekend 2023 - what’s bound to be an unforgettable weekend! Join the King family, national and local leaders, and partners as we come together to pay homage to heroes of the past and present, and to accelerate our collective contribution towards a radically inclusive and equitable world for all.
We will celebrate the unveiling of The Embrace memorial on the Boston Common. Designed by Hank Willis Thomas, an internationally acclaimed African American conceptual artist and MASS Design Group, the memorial commemorates the legacies of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and Coretta Scott King, who met and went to school in Boston, and the civil rights leaders who worked alongside them in Boston.
We invite you to join us at the Unveiling. We have several different ways in which folks can be part of the moment. We invite you to join us at the Unveiling. We have several different ways in which folks can be part of the moment.
