Racial Justice Tour

Embrace Boston will host an exciting learning and tourism initiative in [season] of [year]. We invite you to join us on a tour of cities and sites meaningful to the United States’ racial justice movement across Alabama and Tennessee.

The Racial Justice Tour aims to enrich our definition of cultural wealth through experiencing long-standing monuments and museums that memorialize both the pain and joy of Black America’s past, present and future.

These experiences will inform our approach to shifting narratives to capture the multidimensional experiences of Black, Indigenous, and all People of Color in America through arts and culture–nationally and at home.

With the development of our National Embrace Center in Roxbury on the horizon, we will understand the ways other cities honor the true history of our country to envision a future where everyone, starting with Boston’s communities of color, can see themselves and their legacy reflected in their city’s landmarks.
