We are excited to unveil our Harm Report. This comprehensive document delves into seven critical injury areas of significant historical and contemporary consequences for Black Boston. This release is a pivotal component of our inaugural Embrace Black History annual event, which shines a spotlight on our ongoing Research & Policy initiatives.

To commemorate this important moment we will convene a panel discussion with The Brookings Institution’s Senior Fellow, Dr. Andre Perry and local leaders who are dedicated to addressing the harms caused by institutionalized and systemic anti-Black racism. Unfortunately at this time we have reached capacity for the event.

Our panel will feature:

  • Dr. Andre Perry | Senior Fellow, Brookings Metro
  • Ceci Méndez-Ortiz | Executive Director, Center for Art and Community Partnerships @ MassArt
  • Kyera Singleton | Executive Director, The Royall House and Slave Quarters
  • Michael Curry | President & CEO, The Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers
  • Roeshana Moore-Evans |Executive Director, Harvard & the Legacy of Slavery Initiative
  • Malcolm Johnson | NBC10 Boston Reporter, moderator
