Reveal More History: Youth Civic Storytellers
Reveal More History: Youth Civic Storytellers is Embrace’s education initiative based at The Embrace Monument and the 1965 Freedom Plaza on Boston Common. Through free, youth-led tours, local high school students invite visitors to explore Boston’s civil rights history while examining how monuments shape our understanding of belonging, memory, and public space.
TOUR OPTIONS
- 30-minute tour: The Embrace Monument & 1965 Freedom Plaza
- 40-minute walking tour: The Embrace Monument, Robert Gould Shaw & 54th Regiment Memorial, and the Massachusetts State House (24 Beacon Street)

Meeting Location: All tours begin at The Embrace Monument (139 Tremont Street, Boston Common).
Look for: Your Youth Civic Storyteller wearing an Embrace Boston t-shirt.
